Initial Consultation
In this step we discuss the following topics so that we can fully understand your goals for your project.

• who you are and what your company or organization is all about
• who your target audience is
• what your goals are(convey information, sell etc)
• what type of information and how much do you want to include

Blueprint Creation (web sites only)
At this time Cataluña creates a blueprint based on the information from the initial consultation.  This blueprint will be discussed and agreed upon.

Development
This is the process in which your project starts to come to life.  We consider the following 5 topics when designing your project:

• Content
  This includes text, images, and graphics.  All content should answer "yes" to the following question:  "Is it serving a purpose?"  Your content should be working to achieve your goals.  Your content needs to be provided by you in computer format.  Graphics can be either scanned or created by Cataluña. 

• Navigation (web sites only)
  Navigation is very important when it comes to web sites.  Your visitors should know where they are, where they are going, where they have been, and how to get back at all times.  There are various navigational tools and we will help you determine which is appropriate for your site.

• Theme
  This is where we consider the overall look and feel of your project.  Have you maintained the theme of your marketing efforts?  And is this theme continued throughout your project?

• Simplicity
  When materials are simple they are easy to understand, not distracting, and will convey your information accurately.  The equation is easy to follow:  Simple = Effective.

• Compatibility (web sites only)
  Computers and users on the internet vary greatly in many ways:
  • Computers Speed
  • Modem Speed
  • Monitor Size
  • Type of Internet Browser

  We need to design your site that serves as many different visitors as possible.

Maintenance
Cataluña offers a maintenance agreement to keep your site fresh through periodic updates.  To keep customers coming back, it is important to update your site anywhere from one to two times per month.

Marketing
After your site has been posted to the web, we will help you market your site.  We do this through registration to various search engines.  We will also send out an email press release to all of your friends, family, colleagues and customers if you wish.   It is extremely important to remember that you need to market your site through other means.  Put your address on your business cards, brochures, mailings, invoices, PO's etc.
